MtKギャラリーに隣接するカフェ.Sドットエス店舗内での展示となっています。
山中suplexは、2014年に設立された滋賀県大津市山中町にある共同アトリエです。
京都の市街地から車で約15分、京都と滋賀の県境にある比叡山に位置しており、樹脂、金属加工、石彫や、木工などの立体表現や、屋外での大規模な作品制作を実現することが可能です。当初から段階的に制作スペースや専門機材などを拡充し、2016年からは半屋外の「山中suplexギャラリー」も設置しました。個人制作だけに限らず山中suplexとしても、イベント、展覧会、ワークショップなどを企画・実施しており、2019年からアーティストの積極的な国際交流を目的とした「山中アーティスト・イン・レジデンスオーダー」を開始しました。制作だけではなく発表のスペースとしても機能しつつ、芸術家による持続可能な活動への支援、芸術家同士のフレンドシップに重きを置き、日々活動しており、現在は12名のアーティストやキュレイターが山中suplexに在籍しています。
本展覧会では、有志のメンバー6名で構成されています。出品作家6名はそれぞれ、写真、陶芸、鉄彫、絵画、ぬいぐるみなどの様々なメディアで作品を制作しており、見て触れて楽しめるような展覧会となっております。素敵なカフェの空間で、夏の暑さを蹴り飛ばすような、私たちのサマーソルトキックによる爽やかな風を体感していただければ幸いです。

「セルフポートレイト撮影ワークショップ」
このワークショップでは、フィルムカメラを使って、みなさん自身の写真を撮ってもらいます。自分で撮った自分自身の姿を見るのは不思議な感覚があります。出来上がった写真は、CAFE Dot.Sに展示され、展覧会終了後にみなさんにお送りします。
日時：7月31日（土）, 8月1日（日）各日10:00～12:00/14:00～16:00
対象年齢：全年齢対象（未成年の場合、保護者の了承が必要）

・勝木杏吏 ワークショップ・プログラム
「大理石でペンダントor箸置きを作ろう」
ものをピカピカに磨くことの面白さを体感してもらうために大理石を磨きます。
子どもから大人まで無心に楽しんで、そして最後は自分だけの綺麗な作品を持ち帰っていただきます。

“Yamanaka Summersault Kick”
This exhibition will be participated by 6 voluntary members of Yamanaka Suplex. The members work in a variety of media, including photography, ceramics, iron sculpture, painting and soft sculpture. we hope you will enjoy seeing and touching their works.We invite you to come and experience the fresh breeze in the lovely cafe space as if to “summersault kick” the hot summer.

Kai Maetani Workshop Program
“Self-portrait workshop”.
In this workshop, you will take a photograph of yourself using a film camera. It is a wonderful sensation to see yourself in your self portrait. The finished photos will be displayed at CAFE Dot.S and sent to you after the exhibition.

Age: All ages ( Children under 18 must have parental agreement)

Anri Katsuki Workshop program
“Let’s make a pendant or chopstick rest from marble stones”. Polishing marble stones to a shine is a fascinating experience.
Everyone, from children to adults, will be able to have fun. You can take home a beautiful piece of work of your own after the workshop.
Date and time: Sunday 22 August, once from 10:00 to 11:30 / twice from 13:00 to 14:30
