Southern Tourist Travelogue

I visited Taiwan's Formosa to experience it. While the Earth is vast and generous, there are many commonalities when digging into its geology. In this research, I visited 観光地＝tourist destinations derived from Taiwan's nature: Wushantou Dam, Alishan, Qigu Salt Mountain, Moon World, Beitou Hot Springs, and Guan-ziling Hot Springs.Although these places are for apart, they are merely like moles on the body ofth e Earth. As part of the residency exhibition.
I will create as pace to share Formosa, intertwining IG and aerial views. Let's sit on a bench and plan a journey with Sock Monkey.

私は台湾のフォルモサを感じに訪れました。地球は広く寛大ではありますが、地質を掘ると共通する部分も多々あります。今回のリサーチでは台湾の自然に由来する観光の地を訪れました。烏山頭ダム、阿里山、七股塩山、月世界、北投温泉、関子嶺温泉。それぞれの場所は遠く離れていますが、地球にとってはホクロくらいの大きさの、身体の一部にすぎません。レジデンス成果発表展として、IG と俯廠図を絡め合わせながら、フォルモサを共有する場を作ります。ベンチに座りながら、ソックモンキーと一緒に旅する計画を立てましよう。自然の繋がりがある石碑、石碑ではなく本物の石、消滅し戻ってくるブロンズ像、像はないけど台だけが残っている場所、名前が変えられた碑、日本と台湾との歴史は深く、残っていたり、残っていなかったり、今だからこそ様々な実情を見ることができました。使った靴下と旅に出ることのできる”ソックモンキー＂は私にとっての彫刻作品です。この展示をきっかけに、一緒に記念碑の旅に出てみませんか。
